VOAU 200 Leadership Tract: Work Force Knowledge & Supervision
Burlington Public Library

VOAU 200 is designed to inspire managers and supervisors to find the leader that is within them.  Trainer, Kimberly Conant, Volunteers of America's Human Resources Director, will guide participants in exploring ways managers and supervisors can build trust between themselves and their team as well as building and strengthening competence to more effectively perform their leadership role and function.  During our time together we will explore the difference between “managing” and “leading”; general policies and procedures around expectations and responsibilities; the hiring and termination process; and supporting staff development.  Each participant will leave this class with an updated manager/supervisor’s manual.
