Join us for the 3rd Annual Cider Press food & fundraiser for the Greenwood Food Bank! Volunteers of America partners with City Fruit for this fun event to bring much needed holiday food donations to our Greenwood Food Bank. City Fruit provides a traditional cider press and we make fresh pressed cider, which is given out in exchange for a bag of groceries or a $10 donation. Volunteers are needed to help prep the apples, work the press, clean as we go, weigh donations, and (the best part!) give out the cider. 

Coinciding with this event is the neighborhood trick-or-treat from 12 - 3 pm, so it's a great opportunity to wear your costume for a good cause! If you want to take your kid trick-or-treating during the event, bring a canned food donation and let us know you'll be volunteering for a shorter shift. It's a ton of fun!
